Great secure parking very close to Arsenal F. C. Emirates Stadium.Parked at the location given, paid and then went to... the game. Walk approx. 5 mins to the ground. Felt nice knowing the car was safe with on site staff.Even better was the result Arsenal 0-2 West Ham. Just made the night even better.Returned to collect the car. All safe and sound. I just got my car back from having a service at this amazing garage. My Honda Jazz is 11 yrs old and its driving like... it was new. I Used Holocene for the first time a while back for a bashed up bumper ect and they were brilliantly priced and the work was impeccable as was the valet clean (whatever garage i've been to in the last 40 yrs totally undelivers on the clean) Thank you everyone at Holocene.read more

I cannot recommend Holocene enough. I have used them before for MOT services in the past and recently brought my car in... for another MOT, only to find out that I was 5 months early! I am from Canada originally and had a moment where I read the date of my MOT renewal as April 2023, when in fact it's not due until September 2023! The people at holocene were very kind and did not charge me for the inconvenience to them (they let me keep my car there for a few hours while I had some work meetings). While it was there I asked if they could fix my left wing mirror, I was fully expecting to be charged for the work they did and also for the inconvenience but they were very kind and said it was a really easy fix for the wing mirror so they were not going to charge me. I will absolutely be going back to them and can't thank them enough for their understanding and kindness given the mixup!read more

I fully recommend Holocene where I have now gone on two occasions: once for something minor and again for something... much more major - a leaking water pump and loss of antifreeze requiring diagnostics and repair. Their communication and service are excellent. They kept me in the picture with the diagnostics, were realistic on the timing of the repair and turned my car around within 36 hours at a time when I was back to back with meetings requiring my car and therefore juggling around meetings to fit in with the repair. Excellent, reliable and well priced.read more

I took the car there do get an estimate to have an oil leak repaired and tyres replaced . I was never informed that I... would be charged for this .As the cost were so high I decided not to have any repairs done but then was asked to pay £90 otherwise my keyes would not be returned to me .I think this is not acceptable and I should be informed at any stage if there were any costs involved .Most garages provide a cost estimate for free .read more

I have used this garage previously on a couple of occasions and have always found the service to be excellent and quick... but expensive.One thing I would note is that for my last MOT here I was given advisories on the break disks/ pads & tyre wear. The pads and the tyre were all less than 3000 miles old so this was surprising. Since then my vehicle has been through another MOT and did not receive any of these advisories, in fact all tyres had 4x the required minimum tread for an MOT which was shown to me on the print out I received.read more

I initially took the car in for a power steering pipe repair - of course they added extra jobs bringing to cost up to... £500. (Bearing in mind I have my car serviced regularly from a trustworthy garage) 2 weeks after my first repair with Holocene, my car broke down on a motorway. An AA mechanic checked it over and wrote a report stating the water pump needed replacing. I took it to them to do, and they tell me I also need a thermostat housing and fan replacement, costing over £1,118!!! I asked for only the water pump to be done, and when I picked it up, I was warned not to drive too far!I got home and looked under the bonnet, and they had cut the hose pipe! I have reported this to the police, and am taking it further!read more

Booked my car in for an MOT, not thinking anything would need doing as on my last MOT id had new breaks done and new... tyre in July, due to lock down had barely used the car. Got a call to say i needed front break pads and discs plus 2 new tyres. Was a little unsure, but foolishly went ahead and agreed to have the breaks done, but would take the car elsewhere for tyres. but only because i wanted a second opinion. Picked my car up, but wouldn't give me a pass certificate until my front tyres were changed. Took to the place i know and the guy who owns the company, asked why i was back so soon. Told him needed tyres - he looked and said they were ok, but because i couldn't get my pass certificate without them, asked him to change them. (id rather pay him)but knew i was being ripped off. Went back to Holocene, for my MOT took a mechanic 10 minutes to go over the car and then the office guy left my car running in the middle of the forecourt, basically threw my test certificate at me, no thanks, no nothing. Wonderful customer service, even though i never mentioned the issue with the tyres, obviously not happy i bought tyres elsewhere. Then to top it all, realised my pound pot in my car had been rinsed. Knew what was in there before i dropped the car in but forgot to check when picking it up.Personally would never use again. Would advice anyone who knows about cars to check what you know before you go in. and definitely do not leave any cash in the car.read more
